Stupidest tool with internet access and some semblance of an audience who's commented upon the Obama inauguration
We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things....
— Barack Obama, Inaugural Address upon becoming the 44th President of the United States.
There is simply no excuse for United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts bungling the presidential oath of office to such an extent that Barack Obama might need to do it again, at least in private, to ensure the legality of his inauguration.
Roberts should be impeached and removed from office for this unforgivable error....
— Craig Crawford, supposed pundit, incompetent member of the Florida Bar, all-around tool, and someone I'd describe as a "child" except for the fact that that would be an unfair insult to the world's children.
The judges, both of the supreme and inferior courts, shall hold their offices during good behaviour ....
— Article III, section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, which conspicuously fails to mention isolated, innocent slips of the tongue, no matter how embarrassing, as constituting a lack of "good behaviour" sufficient to remove members of the federal judiciary from office.

Well, Roberts ought to have at least had a notecard in hand, but impeachable offense? Not on this planet.
BTW, "tool" to refer to Craig Crawford is a bit on the loose side, don't you think? "Dullest tool in the shed" perhaps... *heh*

Now that Obama is officially sworn in as the President of the United States of America, its time to put aside our differences, unite to move forward.

This whole episode is one of the silliest things I have heard. Everyone makes mistakes once in a while. No one is immune. Does thhis mean that the first time the President flubs a line or misspeakes, we should impeach him?

People commit mistakes. While the moment could no longer be relieved, the oath was redone the very least. It's not an impeachable offense though.

Impeachment entails grave offenses to the public. It does not include the slip off committed by Roberts.

I thought I saw that Biden flubbed Hillary Clinton's oath of office.

A more serious question re Crawford is why he so grossly over-reacted to a minor slip. This is often a sign of guilt or mental disease.
I am not kidding, by the way, although it might also be ascribed to the reaction of an excessively devout worshiper to an error in ritual.

Obama's inaugural speech was more of like a lists of responsibilities and obligations. He had laid down his plan in running the US.
