You know you're a wonk when ...

... as just happened to me, your TiVo decides (based on your recent viewing patterns) to record C-SPAN's coverage of the U.S. Senate among its "Suggestions."

Reminds me of a good show that isn't on HBO any longer: Mind Of A Married Man.

The lead guy, a Chicago based reporter and family man, is always thinking and looking at "strange". But never really takes action. He's married, he loves his wife, but he still looks.

One day, he's outraged by his TIVO suggestions. He says "Tivo thinks I'm gay." Very funny.

I am amazed at how many people I have turned on to TIVO and who always say: " I could never go back to watching TV without TIVO."

And I am equally amazed at how many people just don't understand the TIVO concept and have no interest in litrally changing their lives by the way they watch TV. Oh well.

You need to have some bumper stickers made up: "Honk if you're a wonk." Let me know when you do. I'll buy a couple.
