Multi-tasking

I'm a multi-tasking kind of guy.  I usually have five or twelve browser windows open while I'm blogging.

Sometimes I get confused, especially when I'm tired.

So tonight I'm clicking around the net, checking to see what other bloggers have to say about the SwiftVets vs. Kerry controversy, and I tool on over to Power Line for about the 43rd time in the last 24 hours.  And I find myself ... distracted.

So about 93 slides into the Yahoo/AP slideshow, I'm pretty sure that I've found at least one of the NYT reporters who wrote their story on the SwiftVets:

I'm pretty sure it's the one in the orange at the back.  Unless I'm confused.

Are you sure it wasn't one of the people in the foreground? I can't make it out because my screen is only 19".

That has *got* to be the *ugliest* mascot I have *ever* seen.

Yeesh.

What's Mr. Bill doing wearing a traffic cone?

What's that mascot's name, anyhow? Dildickolas Penisopolis? And what's that orange thing supposed to be? A broken one of those Olympic Village condoms we keep reading about?

I'm sorry, but just look at the damn thing. It pretty much screams "enormous waddling phallus" - kinda like Michael Moore except not as big of a prick. Who designed that thing? David Lynch?

And look at those huge round feet. If they were hoping to avoid the comparisons to enormous rubber pleasure-inducers that can no longer be sold in Alabama, well, they sure miscalculated with those flappers. And you know what they say about huge feet... that's right. Big shoes.

Ridiculous.

Dear Beldar Blog:

Can you please consider changing your color combination on your blog page? It's nearly impossible to read.

Many thanks for all you do - keep up the good works.
